“We go Dey shock dem like high tension” Davido react after the Supreme Court declares Adeleke Winner Of Osun Governorship Election

Afrobeat singer, Davido took to his Twitter account moments ago to celebrate as the Supreme Court on Tuesday declared Ademola Adeleke as the winner of the gubernatorial election in Osun state.

Delivering judgment on Tuesday, a five-member panel of the apex court held that the court of appeal correctly reinstated Adeleke as governor.

Oyetola of the All Progressive Congress (APC) had sought the reversal of the March 25 judgment of the Court of Appeal in Abuja which affirmed Adeleke’s victory in the July 2022 governorship election.

The Court had set aside an earlier judgment by the Osun Governorship Election Petition Tribunal, which held in favour of Oyetola and removed Adeleke.

Recall that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared Adeleke the winner of last year’s Osun election after polling 403,371 votes.

Oyetola finished second with 375,027 and Action Democratic Party (ADP) candidate Kehinde Atanda was third.

Davido wasted no time in sending a very strong message to his haters and that of his family, especially those that oppose his uncle’s government, the opposition party, APC who currently has a new Presidential Elect in the form of Tinubu.
