A rule enacted by the United Kingdom (UK) prohibits international students, including Nigerians, from moving with their families beginning in January 2024.
This was made public yesterday, and the nation cited population growth as the cause of the new development.
Many have questioned why the UK was so adamant on this, particularly given that Nigerians are more numerous there and will be more impacted by the rule.
However, internet users have found that the law’s success against his own people is completely attributable to a young guy from Osun state named Emdee Tiamiyu.
Emdee Tiamiyu was seen talking to the UK media about how Nigerians are moving to the UK with their families by utilizing the student visa as a gateway in a video that is currently circulating on social media. In his video, he made the point that Nigerian students only utilize their studies as a way to immigrate to the UK with their family as dependents, not for the purpose of attending school there.
