Award winning Nigerian singer, David Adeleke professionally known as Davido has announced a new price rate for him to feature in a song.
The DMW boss disclosed that he is now charging $100k (N46M) plus a video when it comes to being featured by international artistes.
The singer made this known on the Bootleg Kev show as they discussed about the global growth of Afrobeats.
According to Davido, it’s the other way around now instead of featuring international artistes for free, he is now charging.
As expected the video generated several reactions among netizens, while some hailed Davido for the latest decision claiming that free access to him will be reduced as he won’t be taken for granted, others noted that he is supposed to charge higher than that based on his level in the music industry.
