Queen Tobi Philips, one of the wives of Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, Ooni of Ife, has boasted online hours after her husband chooses a new bride.
Queen Tobi Philips posted a video on her official Instagram profile thanking her followers for checking in on her when she was not using the photo-sharing platform.
The exquisite monarch, who claimed the stakes were high, invited her admirers to buckle up for nonstop entertainment.
“Pressure Ti Wa,” she wrote. “Y’all better buckle up, because back to back lewwksss.”
Queen Tobi Philip’s remark follows a claim that the Ooni of Ife married a new wife just days after his previous wives generated a commotion online. It was revealed that the Ife king married Queen Opeoluwa Elizabeth Akinmuda as his sixth wife.
According to City People, the Ooni royals’ relatives and friends have been invited to the Thanksgiving service, which will take place on Saturday, May 20, 2023.
The occasion will be preceded by the Queen’s ceremonial entry into Ile-Ife’s old Ife Oodua Palace on Thursday.
