The governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke, was almost lynched by dangerous thugs at the Osogbo Eid worshiping grounds.
Following a gang of hoodlums’ claimed takeover of the governor’s designated seating area, which was purportedly led by several well-known APC members, there was a full-blown brawl.
The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) representative for Osogbo federal constituency in the House of Representatives, Honorable Moruf Gangaria, was attacked as a result of the rapidly worsening situation.
In the midst of the commotion, sources claim that Governor Adeleke and his group arrived at the scene. A group of bloodthirsty, cold-blooded, and aggressive thugs charged at the governor when they arrived and quickly removed him from the location thanks to security personnel.
The thugs twice stopped the governor from reaching the designated prayer point.
It is also gathered that prominent PDP leaders in Osogbo were also molested and physical assaulted during the unfortunate incident.
