Bankole Wellington, better known by his stage as Banky W, is a Nigerian singer and actor who recently disclosed a similarity between himself and his son.
Banky W shared with his audience during his Father’s Day concert that Adesua, his wife, has said their son walks just like him.
A single parent prayed that his son would follow in his footsteps and find God.
He expressed his frustrations with fatherhood and acknowledged that it is not the simplest job a guy can have. Nonetheless, it’s the top choice.
“His mom says he walks like me. My prayer is that he follows in the footsteps that led me back to God.
Being a father is certainly not the easiest job a man can have, but it’s absolutely the best one. We all want to give the best things in life to our families. But the best things in life aren’t things.
We must do our best to pray and provide for our children today… And prepare them for tomorrow. But regardless of what you can or cannot afford remember that the best present you can give your child is your presence”.
