“Why I ran away from my family and stayed at a motor park at 3am” – ChaCha Eke Faani Opens Up

Chacha Eke, a popular Nollywood actress, has opened up about the terrible manic episode she went through a year ago.

Chacha turned to social media to expose a phoney ID card she used in a desperate bid to flee her family a year ago.

She claimed to have experienced a manic episode that lasted months. She hung around in Lagos’s streets, hotels, and beaches for days. She went on to say that she utilised the forged ID to travel by boat to Ghana.

“Using this “made-up” Identity card of me from one of my imaginary companies; I headed for Ghana by boat. Clad in black jalabia, I kept moving. I passed border after border; terrified & unrecognized. In that moment, I was a “Drifter”, she said.

The actress said she had woken up one early morning at 3 am and felt unsafe at home, so she ran to a motor park in Asaba and subsequently travelled to Lagos.

Furthermore, she said that she was able to regain her memory at First Bank plc Ghana through the help of their staff, Esther.

She added that Esther recognized her and helped her remember herself and her home.

“One year later, I’m thankful to have survived one of my craziest episodes ever recorded,” she wrote.
