Gabrielle Union made a captivating appearance at the screening of “The Perfect Find,” her latest Netflix film.
Arriving at the American Black Film Festival red carpet on Friday, Union stunned in a magnificent gown by Paris-based French couturier, Burc Akyol. The gown is designed by Burc Akyol.
The breathtaking gown featured a black bodysuit with an elegant high neckline and long sleeves adorned with white embellishments, beautifully flowing into a sheer skirt. Union accessorized the ensemble with dangling earrings and black strappy heels. Gabrielle Union shared photos of the gown on Instagram.
In a post on Instagram, Union expressed her excitement about the gown, writing, “Just enough to get a glimpse.” Her post garnered praise from numerous celebrity friends, including Taraji P. Henson, Laverne Cox, and her husband Dwyane Wade.
The screening also saw the presence of other stars from the film, like Keith Powers, who participated in a cast photo. “The Perfect Find,” a romantic comedy by Netflix, follows Jenna, a fashion editor played by Union, as she navigates the challenges of relationships and careers while engaging in a love affair with her boss’s son, portrayed by Powers.
Director Numa Perrier revealed in an interview with Netflix that Union wanted to explore uncharted territory with this film and deviate from her previous projects.
Perrier said, “When I first met with Gab, she told me, ‘I don’t want to make a film like all the films I’ve already made.’ We know and love all of those films, and she’s an icon, but she wanted to really open up more. That’s where all that good stuff is. That’s where you will do something that is really remarkable.” “The Perfect Find” premieres on June 23.
