Manchester City coach, Pep Guardiola, has bragged that his team can now talk about winning a treble after beating Manchester United in the FA Cup final on Saturday.
Guardiola watched as Man City defeated Man United 2-1 in the FA Cup final at Wembley Stadium.
Two goals from Ilkay Gundogan was enough to to hand Man City the FA Cup trophy as Bruno Fernandes scored the only goal for Man United via a penalty.
The outcome of the FA Cup final means Man City have now won two major trophies – FA Cup and Premier League, this season.
The Citizens still have a Champions League final to play against Inter Milan later this month.
“We can now talk about the treble,” Guardiola said at his post-match press conference.
“Of course, we still have to win the Champions League. We performed so well today for our city and our fans.”
