Burna Boy, a Grammy-winning Nigerian musician, has admitted that he didn’t want Manchester City to defeat Inter Milan in the UEFA Champions League final.
Burna Boy spoke with Paramount+ shortly after the match. He created history by being the first African singer to perform at the Champions League final.
He claimed that as a supporter of Manchester United, City’s arch-rival, he didn’t want City to triumph.
He said, “This was most amazing thing, even though I honestly didn’t want City to win for sentimental reasons, it’s okay.
“It is amazing performing at the UCL final.”
