Famous Nigerian afrobeats musician David Adeleke, nicknamed Davido, has stated that he is currently building a mansion for himself and his wife, chef Chioma, in the upscale Eko Atlantic city neighborhood of Lagos.
In an appearance on the most recent Drink Champs podcast, which is co-hosted by N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN, the music icon made this disclosure.
According to Davido, he would chose the wealthy industry of real estate if he were to pursue a career in anything other than music at this time.
He said, “Real estate right now, I will say in Lagos. People have really been building some new dope infrastructures. Yeah, a very good investment, I’m telling you.
“You can buy a place for like $1.5 million…But you sell it for like $4 million. I will tell you, it is a very good investment. My new house I’m building now, for me and my wife, is by the beach; it’s at Eko Atlantic [city]. It’s quiet dope. A lot of good buildings. Amazing.”
