Manchester United is reportedly enraged with Chelsea for disclosing information about their unsuccessful $70 million (£55 million) offer for Mason Mount.
Manchester Evening News says that United are enraged with Chelsea after learning that their failed £55 million deal for Mount was revealed to the media over the weekend. The Red Devils feel that Chelsea’s actions are hurting the club.
Since Mount’s current contract with Chelsea expires in just one year, it is unlikely that United will make another offer—this is their third in total—and will turn their attention to other prospects.
In order to replace Mount, it is believed that United manager Erik ten Hag has created a shortlist of players he wants.
