If Sheikh Jassim’s takeover proposal at Old Trafford is successful, Qatari-backed Paris Saint-Germain is willing to sell Kylian Mbappe to the Red Devils this summer.
The one-year contract extension in Mbappe’s PSG deal has been explicitly rejected by the young player.
This indicates that his current contract with the Ligue 1 champions will expire in a year.
PSG is prepared to make a profit on the attacker this summer but does not want the 24-year-old to leave without paying a transfer price.
El Pais reports that the QSI ownership of the French club is planning to transfer Mbappe to United rather than Real Madrid because they would want to work with Sheikh Jassim should his takeover proposal be successful.
Due to the departures of Karim Benzema, Marco Asensio, Mariano, and Eden Hazard this summer, Madrid has retained a long-standing interest in Mbappe and is searching for strong attackers.
