Alhaji Asari Dokubo, a former top agitator in the oil-rich region, and President Bola Tinubu are currently meeting at the State House.
Dokubo is probably involved in the President’s current discussions with Niger Delta opinion leaders, according to Channels Television.
Last Monday, the president reaffirmed his resolve to putting an end to the nation’s crude oil theft.
Along with these individuals, Tinubu had meetings with former Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) Managing Director Chief Timi Alaibe and former Director-General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), Dr. Dakuku Peterside.
