President Tinubu lands in Paris for Summit

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu arrived in Paris, France, on Tuesday for a two-day leadership meeting. The leadership summit, which will also include other international leaders, will take place from Thursday, June 22nd through Friday, June 23rd.

The Global Financing Summit, sponsored by France President Emmanuel Macron, will be held at the Palais Brongniart in Paris.

President Tinubu’s first official journey overseas follows his inauguration as Nigeria’s 16th President on May 29th, 2023.

Members of the President’s Policy Advisory Council and other top government officials will accompany the President to the leadership summit.




In another news, President Tinubu has approved the return of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) to the Office of the Vice President for supervision. Confirming the development, is the Director of Information, Office of the Vice President, Mr. Olusola Abiola.

According to him, The decision was in line with the various acts establishing the agencies.
