According to Nigerian artist, Davido, his father once built him the country’s top music studio, where Wizkid frequently visited.
In a conversation about his career and the factors that led to his decision to leave his job as a studio engineer and pursue a career in music, Davido made this clear.
Davido claims that his studio, which his rich father constructed for him, was the best in Nigeria at the time and that Wizkid, a fellow musician, as well as other prominent musicians like D’banj, used to visit.
He continued by saying that at the time, while balancing education and music, he worked as a sound engineer. After he had shown his abilities to his friends, they pushed him to start singing.
