Raheem Sterling, Chelsea’s midfielder claimed that his current favourite song is “Amapiano” by Nigerian musician Asake.

This was revealed by the England international in a video posted to Chelsea’s Tiktok page.

In the video, when the players were asked what song they were currently listening to as they headed to preseason practise, Sterling stated that he had caught the ‘Amapiano fever‘.

“Amapiano [by Asake],” Sterling said when asked about what song he listens to at the moment.




Reece James, a defender, similarly disclosed that he is now listening to Rod Wave’s song “Street Runner.”

Carney Chukwuemeka, a player eligible for the Super Eagles, mentioned that his current fave song is “Grateful” by Sinach, a Nigerian gospel singer.
