Banky W, a well-known Nigerian singer and politician, recently shared a personal story during an interview about the challenging period he and his wife, Etomi Adesua, faced in their marriage.
He disclosed that they experienced the heartbreaking loss of their twins during this difficult phase.
During the interview with Chudeity, Banky W discussed how the year 2019 was particularly tough for them.
It was a year filled with the dual challenges of running for office while simultaneously struggling to conceive a child.
The singer turned politician went on to reveal that they embarked on IVF treatments in late 2018 and throughout 2019.
He emphasized the difficulty his wife faced during the second IVF treatment, enduring immense pain.
Despite being occupied with his political campaign, Banky W made it a priority to spend quality time with his wife and provide support during this trying period.
The singer went ahead to state that;
“Whether it’s the community of people that are close to you or family, it feels like you’re being emptied on a daily basis.”
”You’re giving everything you have and it’s not enough and then we lost twins, because we were pregnant with twins and we lost them.”
“Then we tried again, our relationship was strained. It was a tough time”.
