David Silva has announced his retirement from football at the age of 37 after suffering an anterior cruciate ligament injury.
Silva’s retirement comes as a blow to both club and country, as his vision, creativity, and technical ability made him one of the most influential midfielders of his generation. He will be remembered for his exquisite passing, dribbling skills, and ability to unlock defences with his precise through balls.
Throughout his career, Silva was known for his quiet and humble demeanor off the pitch, while his performances on it spoke volumes. He was highly respected by his teammates, coaches, and opponents alike.
