Davido, the ace Afrobeat singer, has been trending for a few days due to a new music video he put online. Bashir Ahmad, a former presidential advisor on new media, chastised the musician, claiming that the song video inaccurately displays Islam.
Bashir and a number of other Muslim social media influencers have demanded that Davido remove the video, seeing it as a flagrant violation of their religion.
“Them go feel am,” Davido says in response to the appeal.
The DMW boss finally broke his silence and responded to the call with a witty tweet.
He challenged Muslims to show him what he did wrong by posting a music video that wasn’t his. After that, Davido praised his new signee, Logos Olori, adding,
