According to Dele Fulani, the National Coordinator of the Conference of APC Support Groups Coordinators, reaching the presidential palace in Abuja without authorization from someone in Lagos State is difficult.
In an interview with Arise, Fulani noted that despite his strong standing in the party, gaining entry to the mansion remains tough unless he contacts someone in Lagos.
He emphasised the importance of distributing posts outside of the Southwest, noting that while Tinubu was the former governor of Lagos State, he is now the president of Nigeria, and it is critical to provide opportunity to folks from other regions as well.
In essence, Fulani believes that too much influence and control over access to the presidential villa currently lie with individuals from Lagos, and he advocates for a more inclusive approach in the distribution of key positions and decision-making opportunities.
