Elohor Eva Alordiah, also known simply as Eva, is a Nigerian rapper, make-up artist, fashion designer, and entrepreneur. Eva is a Delta State native who was born and raised in Abuja. She is considered one of Nigeria’s top female rappers. Her efforts in the Nigerian music industry have garnered her a Nigeria Entertainment Award, an Eloy Award, and a YEM Award.
Her debut EP, Gigo (Garbage in Garbage Out), was released on November 20, 2011, for free digital download. Eva is the founder and proprietor of makeupByOrsela, a cosmetics services firm. Early Life
Elohor Eva Alordiah (born on August 13, 1989, 36 years old) is a native of Delta State but raised in the Nigerian capital of Abuja. Her mother, who listened to musical recordings from the 1970s and 1980s, exposed her to music.
Eva’s major musical influences are Michael Jackson, Bob Marley, Sade Adu, The Carpenters, John Lennon, and Don Williams. As a child, she enjoyed painting and reading books and participated in several art forms.
While in secondary school, she sang in her church’s choir and joined the drama club. When she was ten, she penned a short narrative in her notebook and aspired to be a novelist.

After graduating from secondary school in 2004, she decided to pursue a career in music/entertainment. Teddy Esosa introduced her to Zdon Paporella, who assisted her in better understanding the music industry. However, after being accepted to the University of Bowen to study Computer Science, she put music on hold to get a degree.
Career
Strbuttah’s track “Make ’em Say” featured Eva. Rcube of Strbuttah directed the music video for the song, which was released in January 2011. In the video, Eva made her television debut. She then appeared in a female version of Tha Suspect’s song “I No Send You.” The song’s music video was released in March 2011.
As an independent artist, Eva began working on her debut EP, Gigo (Garbage in Garbage Out), which was published on November 20, 2011. The EP has nine tracks and is available for free digital download.
Eva secured a record deal with Da Trybe 2.0, a record label founded by musical producer and recording artist eLDee, in May 2012. According to Ariya Today, Eva was dropped by Trybe Records in November 2013.

According to Thisday, Eva was named an ambassador for Guinness Nigeria’s Made of Black campaign alongside Olamide and Phyno on August 31, 2014.
Eva appeared in a television ad and performed at the campaign’s debut. “War Coming” was released as the second single from 1960 on September 25, 2014. Tintin produced the song, which features Sir Dauda on guest vocals.
Eva revealed the album’s title and said it would be released in January 2015. Darey Art Alade, Femi Kuti, Yemi Alade, Olamide, Sarkodie, and Sir Dauda appear on the album as guests. Because You Have Been Waiting, Eva’s debut mixtape, was released on March 1, 2016. One of the mixtape’s five songs samples DMX’s 2000 single “What These Bitches Want.” Eva released the Jesse Alordiah-produced track “Friend or Foe” in January 2020, following a musical sabbatical. She and Ibukun Williams co-directed the song’s music video.
