With a rumored £330,000-per-week wage, Kai Havertz, a recent addition to Arsenal, has now surpassed all other players at the club in earnings.
If bonuses are taken into account, Havertz’s pay might go even more, making him the club’s biggest earning since Mesut Ozil.
With a long-term contract,the 24 year old recently transferred from Chelsea to Arsenal for a £65million fee.
Despite a fairly underwhelming season for Chelsea the previous year, Mikel Arteta, the manager of Arsenal, thinks the German international may be a crucial player for the Gunners next season.
The report added that Thomas Partey had been Arsenal’s highest earner on just under £ 200,000 a week – sitting apart from the rest of the squad – though new deals for stars like Bukayo Saka had brought more players in line with that figure.
