Many hours ago, Alhaji Asari Mujahid Dokubo was granted an interview in which he replied to President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s ministerial nomination of Nyesom Wike.
“I am not against former governor Nyesom Wike’s ministerial nomination because he staked everything he had to support Tinubu,” the Kalabari kingdom’s leader remarked. When it comes time for me to acquire something from President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, I hope former governor Nyesom Wike isn’t too opposed.”
Speaking further, Alhaji Asari Mujahid Dokubo said, “it is obvious that the Nyesom Wike I know might later use his position against his political opponents, including me, but that does not mean he doesn’t merit the ministerial nomination.”
Lastly, Alhaji Asari Mujahid Dokubo said, “I want you all to know that I can’t dictate what Tinubu should do. He has rewarded Nyesom Wike for the work he did for him. If President Tinubu eventually deems it fit to invite me and some of Rivers State’s elders for a synergy, we will
