Victor Osimhen, a striker for Napoli, has requested that any future contracts contain a release clause, according to Soccernet.
The 24-year-old scored 26 goals last season to help the team win the Serie A championship.
As Napoli advanced to the Champions League quarterfinal, Osimhen also scored five goals.
Large European clubs have expressed interest in the Super Eagles star this summer due to his performances.
Osimhen is sought after by PSG, Chelsea, Manchester United, and Bayern Munich. However, Napoli constantly seeks to bind him to new obligations.
Osimhen, however, wants to keep his options open and will only put pen to paper on a deal that has a release clause.
His current contract expires June 2025.
