The battle for Supremacy between Sheebah Karungi and Cinderella Sanyu nicknamed Cindy is far from done.
Cindy announced a ‘comeback performance’ on September 15, 2023, at Kololo Airstrip, following a two-year hiatus. During a press conference last week at Rozaho Restaurant in Kololo, the ‘King Herself’ verified this.
It should be noted, however, that Sheebah Karungi has stated that the ‘Yolo Festival’ will be held on the same date and location. Cindy’s date coincides with King Michael’s performance at Cricket Oval.
On why she chose the same date and venue as her nemesis, Cindy said that Kololo Airstrip had no bookings on that day.
Critics have argued that Cindy always markets her concerts by beefing Sheebah which the Boom Party singer dismissed by saying she does not compete with children. Cindy also revealed that she wrote Sheebah’s first song ‘Kunyenyeza’ and that she is open to a music battle.
I don’t compete with children, Sheebah is a child in this industry, I even wrote her first song ‘Kunyenyeza’ by the time she started singing. I have been singing solo for five years, If it is a battle, I have absolutely no problem with it besides I already beat her hands down in music and I have no problem battling any other female artiste in Uganda
After Cindy labelled Sheebah a child, the Queen Karma has been silent but, finally she hit back at the self proclaimed ‘King Herself’ by labelling her ‘NOKIA’. Nokia used to be a big brand but faded.
“Am the iPhone. Your the Nokia”, Sheebah posted on her socials while chilling at Lemala Wildwaters Lodge Hotel in Jinja.
This is not the first time Cindy has provoked Sheebah. In the past years, she branded her a dummy when the Queen Karma was still under Jeff Kiwa management.
