Deontay Wilder, an American professional boxer, has provided an update on his upcoming fight with Anthony Joshua.
If you recall, there were rumors that Wilder was going to fight Anthony Joshua.
Most boxing fans, though, were skeptical of the major battle due to the division’s dearth of high-profile matchups this year.
According to the source, Wilder, also known as the “Bronze Bomber,” has confirmed to boxing fans that the huge bout with Joshua will take place in the Middle East.
He said “We’ve been working very hard, you’ve seen me training. It’s always been Andy Ruiz, but if he doesn’t want to accept it then we will move on, or maybe hold out until the Joshua fight, because that’s definitely going down.”
Wilder also urged fans to be ready for the fight with Anthony Joshua in December.
Nigerian boxer, Joshua last fought in April and got a unanimous points victory over American Jermaine Franklin.
It’s said that he has been looking forward has been keen to step back in the ring for his next fight on August 12, 2023.
