AfroBasket: Nigeria’s D’Tigress edge out Senegal to claim fourth consecutive

D’Tigress Kicked Out Of 2022 FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup, Thanks to Buhari

Nigeria’s D’Tigress have won the Afro Women’s Basketball championship for the fourth time in a row.

In an exciting championship game against Senegal on Saturday, they prevailed 84–74 to claim the title.

In the fiercely competitive game, the D’Tigress got off to a strong start and won the opening quarter 19-10.



The team of Rena Wakama led by 12 points (43-31) at the half.
In the third quarter, Senegal came back, outshooting Nigeria 26-19.


They cut the margin in half, to five points (62-57).

At the conclusion of an exciting fourth quarter, the D’Tigress won 84-74.
