Popular Lagos socialite Farida Sobowale of House of Phreeda was saved after she attempted to commit suicide by diving into the Third Mainland Lagoon in the wake of reports of a marital breakup.
According to online reports, Farida Sobowale had driven her white Lexus to the Third Mainland bridge and was going to plunge when onlookers stepped in to save her.
The socialite is seen in videos on social media sobbing hard and entirely in black after being saved by others.
According to prior rumors, the socialite’s marriage has broken down months after their extravagant wedding to her partner Demola, and this has had a significant detrimental impact on her mental health.
