While Nigerians await the decision of the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal, Martin Onovo, the 2015 Presidential Candidate of the National Conscience Party (NCP), has alleged that President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu was never qualified to vie for the office of President of Nigeria.
It should be noted that the outcome of the presidential election on February 25, 2023 is being challenged by Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party and Mr Peter Obi of the Labour Party.
In an exclusive interview with the Sun, Onovo stated that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu lost the election and that he was not qualified to run in the first place.
Hear him “It is very clear that he was not even qualified to participate in the elections and he lost the elections woefully.” He told Sun paper.
Speaking further, Onovo also condemned the ministerial Appointments of Tinubu. According to him, Tinubu violated the constitution of Nigeria by not submitting the All the list at the same time within the stipulated time frame.
“The lawless distribution of nominated ministers is a direct violation of Section 14 (3) of our Constitution.” Sun paper quoted Onovo as saying.
