President of the Nigeria Labour Congress, Joe Ajaero, has claimed that in his message to Nigerians, President Bola Tinubu did not propose a solution that could be implemented within the next three months.
In an interview with Arise Tv news, he stated that no agreements were reached with the Federal Government during all of the talks held in the Aso Rock residence.
He said, ”Generally, Mr. President didn’t come up with a solution that will be achieved in the next 2-3 months. Now we are talking with Labour on the issue of minimum wage and the committee has not been set up.
We can’t be talking about minimum way now because it’s a law. So no talks have started and one starts to wonder when can we finish all these things.
In all the meetings we have held, there is no agreement signed. And that is the challenge we have with Mr. President’s speech.”
