Actress Kemi Afolabi is facing backlash after questioning the government over the death of a doctor in a public hospital on Lagos Island due to a malfunctioning elevator.

Kemi Afolabi bemoaned the flaws in the administration that resulted in the death of the young doctor, who was only two weeks away from finishing her horsemanship.

The mother of one commented that the inability to do the right thing had cost so many lives, which would soon be forgotten.

“RIP to you Dr Diasco💔 if we talk now, they will say we are using our platform to fight the government instead of supporting and praying for them hmmmnnn.

I believe we all know the right thing to do but we choose to ignore until such situation affect or kill somebody! We talk about it for few days..then everyone moves on like nothing happened.

Despite her refusal to speak directly to the government, netizens lambasted her for assaulting them, claiming that the government was not to blame for the disaster and that they were not part of the bad administration.
