Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the governor of Lagos State, appointed six new “non-cabinet” Special Advisers to various posts throughout the state’s ministries on Monday.
Bimbola Salu-Hundeyin, Secretary to the State Government, announced the appointment, which took effect immediately, in a statement on Monday.
Mr. Olalekan Balogun, Special Adviser, Economic Planning & Budget; Dr. Iyabo Ayoola, Special Adviser, Central Internal Audit; and Akinyemi Ajigbotafe, Special Adviser, Community Development are the new appointments.
Others include Ismail Odesanya, Special Adviser, DAWN Commission & South-West Integration, Very Rev. Bukola Adebiyi, Special Adviser, Christian Religion; Dr. Abdullahi Jebe, Special Adviser, Muslim Religion; and Bukola Adebiyi.
“The SSG extended her congratulations to the appointees and encouraged them to align their contributions with Governor Sanwo-Olu’s vision for a Greater Lagos.
“The appointment takes immediate effect,” the statement said.
