A video has captured the moment Dr Maryam Shetty, the ministerial nominee from Kano state, was turned back from the National Assembly after her name was removed from the ministerial list which was earlier sent to the Senate for screening.
Shetty was among the 19 names President Tinubu on Wednesday, August 2, sent to the Senate for confirmation.
She had arrived the National Assembly this morning August 4 for her screening but was surprised when she was told that her name had been replaced with another nominee, Maigari Mahmud.
