Transfer: Al-Ittihad offer Salah £155m to leave Liverpool

Reports suggest that Liverpool star, Mohamed Salah, has been offered an enticing deal worth €180 million (£155m) over two seasons to depart from Anfield and join Al-Ittihad.

According to Saudi television station, Al-Riyadiah, representatives from Al-Ittihad are now engaging in discussions with Salah’s agents to explore the possibility of a transfer before the summer transfer window concludes.

The report further states that the Saudi Arabian club is prepared to present Liverpool with a £60 million bid for the Egyptian’s services.

Al-Ittihad, crowned champions of the Saudi Pro League (SPL) last season, have already bolstered their squad this summer with signings such as Karim Benzema, N’Golo Kante, and Jota.

Meanwhile, Liverpool has suffered the departures of Jordan Henderson to Al-Ettifaq and Fabinho, who joined Al-Ittihad just last week.

Salah’s current agreement with Liverpool is set to expire after the 2024/25 season.
