Blessing Obasi, a Nollywood actress, and her husband, Stan Nze, have recounted the moment they found out they were expecting their first child.
The couple’s first child’s birth is no longer breaking news. On their YouTube channel, the expecting parents provided their fans and followers a sneak peek inside the couple’s pregnant journey.
The pair recalled their different reactions to learning about the pregnancy in the video. Blessing claimed that she discovered she was two months pregnant only days before her birthday on May 6, 2023.
According to her, she had stood in for her husband at one of their friend’s showroom events, where she confided in her friend that she was having a headache and feeling pain. A friend had asked her to run a pregnancy test, which she declined because she didn’t want her hopes to be dashed.
She eventually succumbed to her demands and did a pregnancy test, which confirmed she was pregnant. The soon-to-be mum disclosed that she shed tears of joy for hours as she had already been praying for the fruit of the womb.
Her husband, who wasn’t in the country at that time, found out that his wife was pregnant on her birthday. He recounted how his wife and their close friends all surprised him with a box of baby gifts, which he considers the strangest gift ever.
A puzzled Stan, couldn’t fathom what was happening until Blessing made it known to him that she is pregnant.
Sharing in their happiness, Omoni Oboli, Destiny Etiko, Juliana Olayode, Juliet Ibrahim, and others sent love to the couple.
Stan Nze announced hours ago that he and his wife were expecting their first child.
It’s a double blessing for them because it’s also their second wedding anniversary.
The message, which was accompanied by a sweet video, showed the actor’s wife affectionately patting her baby bump. During the video shoot, they were also seen donning traditional costume.
Blessing Nze and Stan Nze sparked controversy on their anniversary last September, as many speculated that all was not well with the couple.
Fans of the lovebirds had surprised them with anniversary gifts, and in the video, Stan Nze appeared upset and agitated, causing anxiety among their fans.
Opening up on how their anniversary went, Stan admitted that it wasn’t a joyous one for them, revealing that he and his wife were in different moods as they had argued and none was ready to compromise.
