Rema received the awards for Best Male Artist, African Artist of the Year, and Digital Artist of the Year. Aremu Olaiwola Qudus, a.k.a. Director K, who produced the song’s visual, was also named Best visual Director.
Asake also won a number of prizes. He was named Next Rated Artist, and his album ‘Mr. Money With The Vibez’ was named Album of the Year.
Last Last by Burna Boy was named Afrobeats Single of the Year and Song of the Year.
OdumoduBLVCK and Declan Rice win RAP SINGLE OF THE YEAR.SeyiVibes was also named to the list of honorees.
The Headies Awards which began in 2006 have become the biggest prize in Nigerian music.
Sunday’s show, was the second time the award will take place in Atlanta.
