Deloris Frimpong Manso, a multi-award-winning Ghanaian media personality and businesswoman, recently stated in a post that she is the only 40-year-old virgin alive.
Her fans criticized her for making such sentiments, but she refused to back down.
Delay, who has built itself a unique niche in the entertainment industry, reversed her attitude in 2016.
The Oman FM anchor said on one of her Delay talk show episodes that she is no longer a virgin, ergo the name change on her social media platforms.
Now that I’ve altered my social media handle name, it’s no longer Virgin Delay, because I’m no longer a virgin and don’t see the use in portraying myself as such.
Now that I have changed my social media handle name, it is no longer Virgin Delay, for the simple reason that I am no longer a virgin, so I don’t see the need to parade myself as one,” she explained. In other posts, Delay recounted her early days in 2010, advising people to work hard in life, not to pay heed to other people’s negative attitudes towards them, and to stay focused on any future aspirations they have.
She continued, “I’m not ashamed to share my story because most people are going through the same thing right now, and it’s just to serve as motivation to believe that things can change for the better one day if they work hard and believe in themselves.”
Deloris, who is also the executive producer for the popular ‘Afia Schwarzenegger and ‘The Delay Show,’ emphasized that they should not neglect God in their daily transactions.
In a recent post, Delay appears to have returned to her virgin status.
