I Couldn’t Sleep Out Of Excitement Of Victory, I Was Waiting To See If My Job Was Secure – Tinubu

Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, has spoken out about how he felt when he learned of his triumph at the tribunal while in India.

This comes as the decision of the five-member panel of Appeal Court Justices at the Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal (PEPT) remains at the forefront of public debate throughout the country.

Arise stated a few hours earlier on its verified Twitter handle that Tinubu apologized for being late to a meeting on September 7 because he couldn’t sleep the night before since he was so thrilled about his court triumph.

Tinubu claims that on that day, the president of Nigeria checked the court proceedings to see if his position was safe.

“I was waiting anxiously to hear whether or not my job was safe,” he stated. As a result, I was wide awake after the triumph.

That was one hangover I actually appreciated, and I hope everyone understands why we’re getting a late start today. Our apologies.
