Nedu, a media personality and podcast host, has gotten many people talking about the dark side of the music industry.
Nedu stated that the music industry is particularly dark in the aftermath of the death of young Nigerian artist Mohbad and the problems surrounding it.
He stated that he has been a radio broadcaster in the entertainment sector for over 13 years and has witnessed the rise and fall of Nigerian music musicians.
The well-known OAP stated that the music industry is really dark and that everyone in the industry wants to be famous.
He went on to say that popularity is fleeting and that prospective artists who achieve it should make the most of it.
Using Mohbad’s death as a case study, he advised upcoming artists to do something worthwhile and stop seeking validation.
