The inauguration ceremony of the 34.85km Oyo-Iseyin road in Oyo State caused a commotion as Former President Olusegun Obasanjo made an unexpected move.
Governor Seyi Makinde had invited Obasanjo to attend the opening of internal roads in Iseyin on Friday, September 15, 2023.
However, during his speech, Obasanjo requested the royal leaders present to stand and greet him.
His actions received backlash on social media, with some perceiving it as disrespectful towards the traditional rulers.
