My husband hasn’t had a cold in two years since I started breastfeeding him – Wife

The woman who claims to breastfeed her husband asserts that this practice has not only greatly benefited their relationship, but it has also improved his physical state.

As evidence, Alexander Bailey, aged 30, has not fallen ill with a cold for approximately two years — an outcome his wife, Rachel, also aged 30, attributes to their intimate feeding sessions.

Initially, Rachel breastfed Alexander in 2017 when he willingly offered to alleviate some of the excess milk she produced while nursing their three children.

However, Alexander became addicted to this experience, and it has now become an essential part of their marital bond.

“We realised there was nothing wrong with me breastfeeding him, and it would actually be good for him as it is so nutritious,” Rachel said. “He didn’t get a cold for two years after he started drinking my milk and so many people said his skin was so much better too. He ended up loving the taste of my breast milk and even prefers it to cow’s milk now.”

According to Rachel, Alexander expressed that the taste and texture of the milk were notably different from what he had expected and not akin to his usual milk consumption.

Their inaugural breastfeeding session occurred during a cruise vacation when Rachel had forgotten her breast pumps, resulting in a painful and hazardous accumulation of milk in her breasts. At that time, she was nursing their middle child, Aria, who is now 6 years old.

“I was in so much pain, and I was scared about getting an infection, so we decided that my husband was going to try drinking the milk to relieve me,” Rachel said. “We were nervous about the idea of him breastfeeding from me, but as soon as we did it, we realised it was perfectly fine.”

She emphasised that it’s “not a kink” for the couple — it’s just an emotional bonding experience that has additional health benefits for both. And she always ensures that her children have enough before she starts feeding her husband the excess.

At the peak of breastfeeding her youngest child, Matthew, age 2, she was again over-lactating and said she’d feed Alexander at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Now that Matthew is older, however, she only feeds Alexander at night.
