Balarabe Abbas, Kaduna State’s ministry nominee, fainted during his Senate confirmation hearing.
Balarabe fainted while one of the Kaduna senators was commending his efforts after completing his presentation to the parliamentarians.
Following Balarabe’s collapse, Senate President GodsWill Akpabio said angrily, “Retrieve water and sweets! “Please contact Dr. Musa.”
Akpabio immediately held a closed-door session.
Balarabe was nominated to succeed Nasir El-Rufai, the former governor of Kaduna State.
