Renowned Nigerian disc jockey, Obianuju Catherine Udeh, professionally known as DJ Switch, has called out Pastor Adeboye for his double standards.
Despite constantly urging Nigerians to pray for the country, the founder of The Redeemed Christian Church fails to address the root cause of Nigeria’s problems.
DJ Switch emphasized that while he calls for prayers, he fails to hold the government accountable for their failure to serve the people.
She pointed out that although clergymen are often considered untouchable due to their anointing, Jesus himself openly denounced corruption.
“She wrote: “Pastor Adeboye constantly urging Nigerians to pray for Nigeria… but rarely calls out the cause of Nigeria’s woes! Rarely calls them out for a failure to serve. The Jesus you worship served and called out corruption point blank! Some of una go say touch not my anointed! Anointing wey no dey anoint.”
DJ Switch’s criticism comes shortly after Pastor Adeboye prayed for healing in Nigeria during the October Thanksgiving Service and Nigeria’s 63rd Independence Day celebration.
This is not the first time DJ Switch has spoken out against Pastor Adeboye, as she previously criticized him for expressing hope in President-elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
