International singer Burna Boy has revealed that he no longer has control over his Twitter account, but if he did, chaos would ensue on a daily basis.
In an interview on Kiss Fresh hosted by Henrie, Burna Boy emphasized that his management had taken away his access to Twitter.
He passionately expressed his intolerance for disrespect and stated that if he had control over his account, he would trend every day, causing a constant uproar.
He further emphasized that if he were active on Twitter, the ground would consistently shake due to his strong presence.
He said, “If I had access to my account everywhere would be shaking every day. The ground will be elevating based on my feelings and I don’t like disrespect on the internet and they always try to disrespect me on the internet. So my management does not let me have access, if not then the ground will elevate. I will spend too much time there, honestly, I will spend a lot of time there.”
However, Burna Boy also acknowledged that his perception of Nigerian Twitter users has changed, realizing that they are not as fiery as he initially believed.
He compared them to users from other countries such as the US, Kenya, and South Africa, who have proven to be more intense.
He said, “I don’t like people on Twitter, I used to think that it was just Nigerians on Twitter that were just mad then I went to Kenya and saw that it was the same thing. Then I went to South Africa and saw that it was the same thing.”
It is an open secret that Burna Boy does not take rubbish from anyone including his fans, much less his critics. So it comes as no surprise that he would have been dishing clapbacks on Twitter if he controlled his account.
