Karrueche Tientrese Tran was (born on May 17, 1988), in Los Angeles, California. She was raised by a Vietnamese mother, Cindy Adamson, and an African-American father, Cindy Adamson. She grew up along with her brother Raymond Adamson.

Regarding education, Karrueche went to Fairfax High School and then switched to Birmingham High School. Around that same time, she began working at Mrs. Fields and a coffee shop.

Career

After graduating from high school in 2006, she set out to begin her adventure in the fashion industry. She was a personal shopper at Nordstrom at the Westfield Topanga Mall for three years. At this point, she already had a unique blend of fashion and streetwear.

Soon, Karrueche was getting requested to style Hollywood celebrities. After that, she started getting small modeling gigs from local brands. In the summer of 2013, Tran began landing big gigs with “Crooks and Castles,” feature stories in Elle Magazine, and being on the cover of several publications.
