After spending a considerable sum of money, a man was left disheartened when real dogs at the park rejected his attempts to interact with them.
Known as Toco, this Japanese man had invested millions in an ultra-realistic dog costume, driven by his fascination with adopting a canine appearance.
Despite his hefty investment, he was saddened to discover that other dogs did not see him as an equal.
While speaking in an interview with the Sun, the man registered his dissatisfaction, saying …
“They seemed a little surprised, and unfortunately, they did not treat me as an equal.”
Undeterred by critics, Toco remains determined to pursue his passion for roleplaying.
“I’m just sad that people can think that. I love animals and enjoy play-acting like a collie. This is my hobby so I will carry on,” he said.
He now seeks to connect with fellow therians, individuals who identify as non-human species.
