Tacha Akide, a former contestant on Big Brother Naija ‘Pepper Dem’, is facing criticism for indirectly insulting her fellow contestant, Mercy Eke, after her loss in the recent All Stars show.
It was reported that Ilebaye emerged as the winner of the show, defeating Mercy Eke, Ceec, Pere, Cross, and Adekunle to claim the title.
Despite many hoping that Mercy Eke would win, she ended up as the first runner-up.
In response to this, Tacha, who was a strong supporter of Ilebaye, subtly shaded Mercy while celebrating Ilebaye’s victory.
She asserted that she had proven her point and questioned if it was clear now that Mercy wouldn’t have won her season if she hadn’t been disqualified.
Netizens, who were unimpressed by Tacha’s actions, took to various blogs to criticize her for still holding a grudge after four years.
One Sasha Itota wrote, “Just confess that u pulled the crowd to vote Ilebaye massively just to prove a point to Mercy
One Jennie Smart wrote, “Girl go and heal, it’s 4 years already
One Clara Aluka wrote, “It’s been 4 years heal madam. Mercy isn’t ur mate
One B Forever wrote, “Tacha is still hurt.
Previously, Tacha and Mercy had a falling out on the show, resulting in Tacha’s disqualification and Mercy’s win. Many people believed that Tacha would have won if not for the fight, leading her to hold a grudge against Mercy.
In an interview with Toke Makinwa, the reality stars discussed their ongoing feud and criticized haters for fueling the hatred between them.
During the interview, Tacha and Mercy expressed that they don’t feel obligated to meet people’s expectations, as many derive pleasure from their conflicts.
They also disproved skeptics by joining Khloe Abiri on Instagram Live, showing that their relationship was intact.
Tacha’s support for Ilebaye started when there was a plan to undermine her on the show.
