“They looked a mess and were eating like dogs, it made me mad” – Simi carpets Skit makers, Nons Miraj, Ashmusy, others over their portrayal of African moms

Simi, a Nigerian artist, has slammed Skitmakers, Nons Miraj, Ashmusy, and others for portraying African mothers incorrectly.

Kemi Filani stated that the Skitmakers had created a skit in which they dressed up as African mothers in traditional garb and went to a restaurant.

The video shows them entering the restaurant in their various traditional costumes, disgustingly eating their meals, snapping photos like typical African mothers, and then packing all of the utensils.

Simi, who found the video repulsive, chastised them for presenting African mothers in a negative manner.

Simi took to Twitter, now known as X, to describe the video as a disaster, pointing out how they were eating like dogs, which irritated her.

She said, “I don’t know any mother who acts like that,” as she advised them to improve their skits.
