In a recent video, Amaju Pinnick publicly calls out singer Davido for his refusal to perform at the 19th edition of Warri Again, despite being paid a substantial amount of $94,600 (72.5M).
Amaju, who is a former President of the NFF and member of the Organising Committee for FIFA, expresses his disappointment at the superstar’s absence from the event, which took place on October 6th.
According to Amaju, Davido was well-compensated for the performance and a chartered plane had been arranged to transport him and his team to the venue.
The payment was reportedly made on April 6th, 2023. However, the singer did not show up and was replaced by Shallipopi, known for the hit song “Evien.”
Amaju Pinnick addresses the audience members and conveys his deep dissatisfaction with Davido’s actions.
He goes on to state that the singer will not be allowed to perform in Warri in the future.
Furthermore, Amaju accuses Davido of being arrogant and asserts that Burnaboy is a more prominent artist than the DMW boss.
